Important Back to School Information
Dear HSTAT Families,
We hope you are having a lovely summer. I am reaching out to provide some important dates and reminders in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year.
School begins on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Incoming 9th graders and any student who is new to our school will report to the auditorium through the Senator Street entrance at 8:05 a.m. for a brief orientation and tour of the school. All other students will report to designated rooms at 9:30 a.m. (NOTE: room assignments will be emailed and mailed home the last week of August). All students will enter at the student entrance on Senator Street closest to 4th Avenue. Dismissal is at 2:25 p.m.
ATTN FRESHMEN, TRANSFER STUDENTS, & STUDENTS IN NEED OF A DEVICE:
Students must pick up a LAPTOP and YONDR BAG prior to the first day of school. Students must bring in a signed Student Device Loan Agreement (included in this mailing). Distribution:

Students must come to school prepared daily. Please remember that we are a phone-free school, so students must have their YONDR pouches with them on the first day. On Thursday, September 4, 2025 students will receive the following items:

We are thrilled to meet our new students and to welcome back current students for what will be an exciting year. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Valentin, Parent Coordinator, at EValentin7@schools.nyc.gov or 718-759-3427.
